The right front axle shaft is leaking grease but there is no apparent damage to the boot. Over time, the rubber cv boot can become dry or brittle, creating cracks or tears. Creating cv is a first step to become more qualified in your own eyes.

The worst case is you will have to replace the axle half shaft, which is what you would do anyhow. An inner axle cv joint boot cannot be replaced while the axle is still in vehicle.
